Diet drink

I have been studying this diet and am impressed with it. I have read the book but would like to clarify some things. Is it ok to have one 16oz diet soda a day. I do not drink coffee so I was kind of wanting that in the morning for some caffeine. Was also curious about salsa. Would I include that in veggies?

Hello, and welcome! 

Yes, you can drink as much diet soda if you respond well to drinking it.  Some people have negative symptoms such as headache so listen to your body and make a good decision.

Fat free or very low fat salsa doesn't have a lot of calories so unless you're consuming several cups a day, you can just count it as part of your daily vegetable intake.
